I am a Deathwalker and ceremonialist living in Mullumbimby - Arakwal Bundjalung country. I offer services in the Byron and surrounding shires - including Lennox Heads, Byron Bay, Ballina and the Byron Hinterland.
A Death Walker is somebody that can support you in different stages of the end-of-life journey. I offer non-medical support for end of life journeys and transitions, similar to what a doula does may do when helping somebody prepare for a birth. Sometimes we are afforded the time to prepare for a death and many questions may arise as to what needs to be done or what can be done. Maybe we start with conversations with our families about our wishes and getting our paperwork in order, but sometimes we need help, we may not know where to start and we might need somebody to offer support and help us to navigate this journey. I can provide support as well as connect you with other services you may need. I offer death planning services as well as ceremonies for end-of-life, funeral planning and personalised grief rituals.
About meCrafting personalised rituals and ceremonies to honour end of life as sacred. I am the co-founder of Ritual Objects, a ceramics studio specialising in hand made funerary urns and host of “the dying well” podcast. A resource for navigating death and dying through a series of interviews with experts and death workers. I also host a Death cafe in Mullumbimby at the beginning of every new season.
